ValePlus Celebrates 20 years!

Angharad & Trish put on a fabulous afternoon at Llantwit Major Outreach Centre to celebrate 20 years of ValePlus on Friday 5th August. Parents, Carers, Trustees, the Mayor Gerwyn Thomas and his consort Gelnys. Jane Norman, Vale of Glamorgan Councilor, Rhiannon Cummins PCSO for Llantwit and Eddie Williams the local councilor enjoyed some beautiful party food, not to mention the huge helpings of the amazing cake (thanks Angharad for the big portions!) Some of the clients shared their reasons why they loved coming to ValePlus and thanked ValePlus for everything.

Angharad Pritchard the Llantwit Major Outreach Manager who has worked for the organisation for almost 20 years said:

“It is a pleasure and privilege to work for such a worth while organisation. Every day is a different day in ValePlus. We have so much fun and I am so grateful for all the opportunities and experiences that ValePlus has provided me with over the years.

I would like say a big thank you to all the people and local businesses that have supported us over the years whether it be through donations, sponsoring events or volunteering. Also the biggest thank you to the families, carers and services users as if it wasn’t for all your hard work and support we would not be where we are today. Here’s to the next 20 years!”
